table setting

The Sustainable Gastronomy dinner is hosted by the Breakthrough Institute, a nonprofit environmental think tank based in Oakland California, and will be attended by leading chefs, producers, writers, and researchers. The dinner will constructively challenge popular ideas about what a sustainable food system for a global population of 9 billion people looks like and what a progressive gastronomic cuisine based upon those principles might taste like.

This invitation-only dinner will be held in New York and includes a reception, a multi-course tasting menu, and a forward-thinking exchange of ideas, as well as an introduction to the technologies that are shaping the future of sustainable agriculture.
